ABOUT BRICS CCI

Welcome to the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry! We are a leading organization dedicated to promoting economic cooperation, trade, and investment among the member nations of the BRICS alliance – Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. Our chamber serves as a vibrant platform for businesses, entrepreneurs, and professionals from these nations, facilitating dialogue, collaboration, and growth.

BRICS CCI

The BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a parent organization which promotes commerce and industry in the BRICS nations. The Chamber, founded in 2012 with the efforts of eminent professionals and entrepreneur, is a not- for-profit and non-governmental organization. BRICS CCI is a registered body under Societies Registration Act 1860, Government of India and empanelled with NITI Aayog (highest policy-making body of Govt of India) and recognized by United Nations.
The objective of BRICS CCI is to create an enabling support system especially for the MSME segment of businesses, young entrepreneurs, women entrepreneurs, and Start-Ups from across all geographies.

BRICS CCI, Centre for CSR

Centre of Excellence in CSR & Sustainable Development of BRICS CCI- was conceptualized & established in Nov 2015 as the first & only vertical of the chamber in alignment with its vision of promoting not only trade, commerce, cultural exchange & socio-economic growth system but also emphasize “RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES” with special focus on “Social Impact” as per SDG goals for community development. In their first press release the founder and convenor (now President) of BRICS CCI CSR vertical, Dr. Sushi Singh reiterated that “ESG & Sustainability would be the next big thing in India” and the day is at our doors.

BRICS CCI Annual Recognisation Awards 2023-24

BARA BRICS CCI Annual Recognition Awards 2023-24 was conceptualised by President, Centre for CSR, BRICS CCI, Dr. Sushi Singh, in 2018 as an opportunity to create a marquee event for the Chamber as only Chamber who could claim for facilitating this international recognition to BRICS Nations.
By recognizing and promoting the best responsible business practices & excellence in technology & innovation in the BRICS nations, the awards aim to drive positive change in the community of BRICS nations, helping them realize their potential as a growing superpower. BARA strives to encourage organizations of BRICS nations to prioritize sustainability, ethical behavior, and positive impact on society and the environment in their operations.
BARA shall be celebrated from now onwards in BRICS nations as a festival of cultural and ethnic values, celebrating lifestyles and heritages. BARA, beginning with a captivating opening & closing ceremony, includes cultural performances from BRICS member nations. Highlighting the rich cultural heritage and diversity of the BRICS nations & shall witness dignitaries, renowned personalities & celebrities from each of the BRICS countries, having a strong connection with the respective award category, adding credibility to the award presented.

With over 30 years of experience as an educationist, corporate leader, and social change agent, I currently utilize my experience, knowledge, and skills in the fields of women and youth empowerment through education, Skills & sports, corporate social responsibility, and community development in the roles mentioned above. In all my current and past roles, I have always been passionate about empowering and advancing the welfare of women and promoting individual social responsibility for churning out responsible corporate leaders.

I have envisioned BRICS Annual Recognition Award as a unique opportunity to portray the success stories of BRICS countries and further enhance the appeal of the block on the world stage.
